Florida's largest retailers are accelerating investments in artificial intelligence, with several major chains announcing multi-year technology roadmaps that prioritize inventory optimization, personalized customer experiences, and loss prevention. Industry analysts say the state's retail sector is emerging as one of the most aggressive adopters of AI tools in the country.

Several major Florida retailers, including Publix and Winn-Dixie, have announced they are ahead of schedule on compliance and are using the regulatory deadline as an opportunity to overhaul their packaging programs more broadly. "The new food court and additional retail space will allow us to bring in brands that have been on our waiting list for years."

The project is expected to create approximately 400 construction jobs and 600 permanent retail and food service positions. Orange County officials praised the investment as a significant boost to the local economy and tax base.

Among the confirmed new tenants are several European luxury brands making their first Florida outlet appearances, as well as expanded spaces for existing tenants who have requested larger footprints.
